The four-row cylindrical roller bearing is a typical roller diameter bearing. The parts can be separated from each other. The high precision can achieve parts interchangeability. It is very convenient to install, disassemble, and clean. Within a given radial installation space, it can provide the largest diameter. Towards the bearing capacity, and has a low friction coefficient.
There are three main types of structure, namely: FC type FCD type FCDP type
 
FC type
It is a separable bearing, and the integral inner ring can be separated from the whole set of bearings, with high limit speed and interchangeability. The cage is a machined brass cage. Such bearings must first be suitable for high-speed (35m/S) rotation. Carrying capacity is in a secondary position. Generally, a four-row cylindrical bearing with an inner diameter of 80 mm <260 mm is designed as a secondary structure. Mainly used in the work roll part of cold rolling four-roller, six-roller and twelve-roller.
 
FCD type
It is a separable bearing, and the degree of separability is poor compared to the FCDP structure, except that the two inner rings can be separated from the entire set of bearings, but it has a higher limit speed and interchangeability. The cage is machined brass or steel cage. This type of bearing is not only suitable for high speed (35m/S) but also can withstand heavy loads at the same time. Generally, four-row cylindrical bearings with inner diameter of 260mm<400mm are designed as secondary structure. It is mostly used in the section finishing mill and high-speed wire rod rough rolling, intermediate rolling and pre-finishing rolling parts, including the backup roll, intermediate roll and work roll of cold rolled nonferrous and ferrous metal rolling mill below 950.
 
FCDP type
Typical rolling mill roll diameter bearings, parts can be separated from each other, high precision can achieve position interchange, installation, disassembly, cleaning is very convenient, in a given installation space, it can provide maximum radial load capacity, and has a low Mocha coefficient. Therefore, it is suitable for the roll diameter of the rolling mill with high speed, heavy load and harsh working environment.
In order to accommodate the largest number of rolling elements to provide the best radial load-bearing capacity, the cage of the four-row cylindrical bearing with an internal diameter of more than 400mm is generally designed as a pin-type cage (as shown on the left). This cage is limited laterally The two washers of the rolling element and the strut connecting the two washers and passing through the center of the roller. And the two ends of the final pillar and the gasket are riveted and fixed by argon arc welding, and the cage has high strength. This is very important for bearings that are subject to frequent shocks or high acceleration and deceleration movements (such as: steel development machines, high-speed reversible rolling mills).
